Man kills sister-in-law

RAWALPINDI - A man shot dead his sister-in-law over some domestic dispute at Dhoke Jumma, area of Police Station Civil Line, informed police on Saturday.
The murderer identified as Ghazanfar managed escape after committing the crime while Rescue 1122 shifted the dead body to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) for autopsy.
 According to Police Station Civil Line Sub Inspector Ghulam Naseer, who is also investigating the case, informed that a 21-year-old Shumaila Bibi daughter of Abdul Khaliq, hails from Dhoke Jumma, got married with her cousin Abid in Chapper Village, Adyala one year ago. He said that later a quarrel occurred between the couple after which Shumaila left her husband house and started living with her parents.
On the day of incident, Shumaila’s brother-in-law Ghazanfar came her home to sooth her and take her back to home but the lady refused to do so. On this Ghazanfar got infuriated and pulled out his pistol and killed her by shooting two bullets into her head. “The killer managed escape,” he added.
“A murder case was registered against the killer while the dead body was handed over to patents after conducting postmortem by the doctors,” SI stated.
He said the father of the killer promised police that he would present Ghazanfar before police in two or three days.
