3 terrorists, nine children arrested

ATTOCK - Police have arrested three alleged terrorists along with nine children who were trying to enter Punjab.
According to details, police on tip-off near Attock Khurd arrested three alleged terrorists namely Inamulah, Sharifullah and Obaidullah along with nine teenage boys whose names could not be ascertained. All were travelling in a Toyota Hiace bearing registration number PRC-5259 coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Police registered an FIR and started investigation. DPO Israr Ahmed Abbasi, when contacted, told The Nation that FIR has been registered against the terrorists. He added that the children are innocent and will be handed over to their parents. It is to be noted that all the alleged terrorists and children belonged to district Dir of KP.
16 MILITANTS KILLED IN NWA ACTION
Online adds: PAF warplanes blitzed terrorist targets in North Waziristan Sunday, killing at least 16 insurgents and leveling seven hideouts. An Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) handout said that these strategic achievements were made after successful air strikes in the suburbs of Mirali. The ISPR further said that a large cache of explosives was also destroyed in the air strikes.
