DASKA-  The four accused have confessed to beheading the newlywed couple over the love marriage issue in village Satrah of Daska tehsil.
The accused including Bashiran Bibi, the victim’s mother, Shamshad (uncle), Iqbal Hassan alias Pup (uncle) and Ghulam Rasul (grandfather) told the police that they beheaded the couple as punishment for the love marriage.
The accused admitted that they cooled down the fire of their revenge after killing them. A newly-wed couple Muafia Bibi (23) of Satrah village of Daska tehsil and Sajjad Ahmed (27) of nearby village Hasanabad were beheaded in full public view by the family members of the girl for marrying a 'man of her choice.'
On June 28, 2014 an anti terrorism court had given a week-long physical remand of the accused to Daska police till July 04, 2014 in the case.
