President approves Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk as new CJP

ISLAMABAD- President Mamnoon Hussain today approved the appointment of Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk as the new Chief Justice of Pakistan.
The incumbent Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani will retire on July 4. He will be replaced by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, who is the senior most judge of the Apex Court. The new chief justice will take oath on July 5. Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk was born on August 17, 1950 in Swat, Pakistan. He
completed his degree of Bar-at-Law from Inner Temple London and was called to the Bar in 1977.
