GUJRANWALA: At least three robbers were killed and another arrested with arms after a police encounter here today.

The Police after being informed approached a gang of robbers engaged in looting citizens by installing picket in Kalarabadi, Baghbanpura police station jurisdiction in Gujranwala.

Upon sight of police the robbers started firing and entered into a nearby residential colony. The police chased the fleeing robbers engaging in an exchange of fire.  

Three robbers were shot dead by the police while another was apprehended with arms and looted valuables.
