KARACHI - A man was killed while two others were woun-ded during communal clashes between Hangoro and Sanghar communities on Sunday night. Meanwhile, a house, a caf and five vehicles were also set ablaze by miscreants in the jurisdiction of Kalri Police Station. According to the Superintendent of Police (SP), Khadim Hussain Rind, there erupted a clash between Hangoro and Sanghar communities in which three people of Sanghar community identified as Saleh Mohammad, Usman and Ishaq were shot injured and shifted to the Civil Hospital where Ishaq was declared dead. The above-declared tribes had also clashed previous year in which nephew of deceased namely Zulfiqar had been killed. Meanwhile, family member of deceased Ishaq held protest demonstration carrying the body of Ishaq at Mari Poor Road and chanted slogans against law enforcers and demanded to arrest the accused involved in the murder. Following the incident, gross stress and strain engulfed the Lyari area.
