ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani contingent, drawn from three services, would represent the country at military parade being held in Beijing on Thursday in wake of World War II.
The contingent, consisting of 75 officers and Jawans, is in Beijing for the last two weeks and is undergoing training and rehearsal for the parade.
The members of contingent have been selected on the basis of their professionalism and performance in their respective units.
Leader of the troops, Lt. Colonel Muhammad Tayyab, in an interview with China Radio International said they have learnt a lot during their stay and training in Beijing.
In all, troops from 17 countries would participate in the parade.
