Qaim Ali Shah expresses concerns to Baloch over Dr. Asim's arrest

KARACHI: Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch met Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah today and conveyed to him a special message of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

According to sources, the chief minister expressed reservations over Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) raids in Sindh leading to the arrest of some senior PPP leaders including Dr Asim Hussain.

Shah said that FIA is “harassing” the Sindh government officers by conducting raids without informing him.

Baloch told the chief minister that he would apprise the prime minister about the reservations of the Sindh government. He said that the Karachi operation had started with consensus with all political forces and it is not against any party.
