Decision over PTI’s plea in NA-122 reserved again

Lahore- Election Tribunal reserved its decision over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s plea to inquire NA-122 once again today.
Election Tribunal’s Judge Kazim Malik heard the case proceedings. In the petition forwarded by Imran Khan, it has been stated that local commission neither conducted the audit adequately nor brought the facts, pertaining to rigging, to light. The tribunal should therefore order the inquiry again.
Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq’s lawyer argued that the objections were baseless. He alleged Imran Khan of pointing accusations at local commission’s Ghulam Hussain Awan in fear of losing the case. The court reserved its judgment after hearing out the arguments and summoned Speaker NA to record his statement on February 7th.
