SIALKOT - A mysterious explosion in the house of a local trader jolted Chawinda and surrounding areas and shattered the windowpanes of houses and buildings in the vicinity early Friday morning. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
As per details, the explosion occurred in the house of a local trader Muhammad Ashraf in Chawinda, Pasrur tehsil, shattering windowpanes, doors and ventilators in the house.
The explosion jolted Chawinda and its surroundings while the bang was heard from afar as well.
However, residents of the house remained safe while the explosion created panic among locals.
According to Pasrur AC Tauqeer Ilyas Cheema, it was a mysterious explosion occurred in the open house of the trader early Friday morning. He said that the police, bomb disposal squad and local administration had thoroughly checked the spot but they did not find any explosive device, neither there was gas leakage nor gas cylinder.
The AC Pasrur repeated that it was a mysterious explosion and no clue could find to ascertain cause of the explosion.
While talking to the newsmen, some neighbours believed that the said house was under the use of some “hidden forces”, saying that the hidden forces conducted this mysterious explosion there.
However, the police and other agency were busy finding any clue in this regard.
