ISLAMABAD- Finally, the Supreme Court on Friday succeeded to ensure the recovery of two minor kids of Tahira Jabeen, a resident of Lahore. According to details, the apex court took a suo moto notice on the appeal of Tahira Jabeen for the forceful abduction of his two minor kids by her former husband. The Supreme Court directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to ensure the repartition of minors from middle-eastern countries. The FIA recovered the minors through Interpol. The FIA Legal Advisor, Azam Khan, submitted a report in the Supreme Court on Thursday and produced the kids before the court on Friday. The three-member bench of the apex court headed by the Chief Justice appreciated the efforts of FIA for the recovery of minors. The Chief Justice told the FIA Advisor that rule of law was stronger than rule of wealth. Similarly, the same bench directed the FIA and the Foreign Office to expedite diplomatic efforts for repartition of minor kids of an actress Sofia Mirza from Norway. The court showed its satisfaction over the performance of FIA and Foreign Office for their efforts in the case and adjourned the matter till August 13.
