PISHIN- Six women have been injured in an acid attack in Tang area of Pishin district over a family dispute.

Talking to journalists, Deputy Commissioner Pishin Bashir Bazai said that six women sustained burn injuries when four men sprayed acid on women inside the house as a result of a family dispute.

He said that fortunately, the faces of the women were saved but their feet were injured in the attack. "There were no men inside the house when the culprits' relatives targeted the women," Bazai said.

The attackers escaped unhurt after launching the attack. The injured women were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. The deputy commissioner said that the women were discharged from hospital
after being given first aid treatment since their condition was not serious.

Levies personnel conducted raids in different parts of Pishin and Killa Abdullah but no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
