SHEIKHUPURA: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a major terror bid in Lahore as it killed 7 terrorists, who were going to target Lahore, whereas 3 fled away during the operation near Sheikhupura.

According to details, in Chak Rasala 4, the firing exchange between terrorists and CTD took place after the law enforcement agency raided the hideouts of the terrorists. During intense exchange of firing, seven terrorists were killed, while their three accomplices managed to escape taking advantage of darkness.

CTD recovered hand grenades, 3 Kalashnikovs, 4 pistols, hundreds of bullets and three motorcycles. Explosives and detonators were also found along with the maps of different sensitive places of Lahore and Sheikhupura. The terrorists belonged to a banned outfit.
