VEHARI/SARGODHA-Two sisters were murdered in the name of honour in Vehari as both wanted love marriage against the will of parents, whereas two people were killed for honour in Sargodha. The accused flushed the bodies in gutter after murder.
According to details, two sisters were murdered in the limits of Mithroo, district Vehari. Residents of the area said both sisters had wished for love-marriage, but parents and brothers were not ready. According to the residents, on Friday evening the girls and parents had heated arguments over the wedding matter after which the brother hacked to death both the sisters in the name of honour. The accused managed to escape and the police have launched investigation into the incident.
On the other hand, two youths, said to be brothers, were axed to death in the name of honour in Sillanwali Tehsil of Sargodha. The accused threw the bodies into a gutter after murder but rescuers after two hours operation took out the bodies through crane and shifted to hospital. The slain brothers are said to be from Kotli, Azad Kashmir. Police arrested the accused and started further investigation.
