ISO FLAYS ADMIN FOR NOT ALLOWING PROTEST IN VARSITY
Activists of Imamia Student Organisation (ISO) criticised the administration of Agriculture University for not allowing students to lodge a peaceful protest in the campus.
Addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press club on Sunday, Syed Tajammul Naqvi, central information secretary ISO, said that the administration tried to stop the students from their democratic right a few days back.
He said that it was right of the students to protest attacks on shrines of Hazrat Ammar Yasir (RA) and Hazrat Awais Qarni (RA) in Syria and in this connection no one had the authority to stop them from staging a peaceful protest.
He said that ISO strongly condemned Saudi Arabia’s intervention in Syria’s political conflict. He warned that some hidden elements were involved in creating Sunni-Shia conflict in Pakistan. He appealed to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to allow their peaceful protest inside the university.
