KARACHI- Minister for Information Sindh Sharjeel Memon has claimed that a covert agreement exists between Taliban, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and PML-N and they are directly or indirectly together.
Talking to media outside Sindh Assembly session today, the minister said Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Taliban and the PML-N had covert agreement among them adding that centre is carrying out dialogue with terrorists in negation to the law and constitution. Memon said a treason trial of former president Pervez Musharraf was a test of judiciary and the federal government. Independence of judiciary and the government’s courage will come before the public and they would know the truth
He said he did not consider statements of Rana Sanaullah as serious, as he is a non-serious person. He often gives such irresponsible statements thus we do not think his statement needs any response. To a question, Sharjeel said Chief Minister Sindh enjoyed complete confidence of party leadership. Memon said CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah is a senior and respectable politician and he has a deep eye on all matters in ether province. He said due to CM Sindh efforts the situation in Thar has been bought under control. He said news regarding CM Sindh being changed, are baseless the party has full confidence in the leadership of Qaim Ali Shah.
He said that we condemn attack on minorities worship places in Larkana and Hyderabad. Sindh govt has taken notice of the incident and over a dozen people have been arrested while DSP ad SHO have also been suspended. He said that this is a conspiracy against the Sindh govt and an attempt to destabilise it. But we will not allow this conspiracy to succeed. Memon said that protecting the minorities is responsibility of the government and we are fulfilling this responsibility to every extent.
