ISLAMABAD- A Chinese ship expected to reach Aden tomorrow would vacate 200 more Pakistanis stranded in a war between a Saudi-led coalition and Houthi rebels.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was told that the Pakistani evacuees will either be dropped at Djibouti or Moqalla, depending on the conditions of the area.
Pakistan’s naval ship is also expected to reach Yemen by April 2.
Around 75 Pakistanis are still residing in Sanaa. Also, a high-level Pakistani delegation led by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif today left for Riyadh to discuss important matters with Saudi leadership. According to Pakistan Foreign Office, the government is trying to evacuate stranded Pakistanis from Yemen via sea route.
