Rehman Malik, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior has directed Director General Immigration and Passports, Brig. Khalid Habib to start issuing Machine Readable Passports (MRP) to the people of Federally Administered Areas (FATA) with immediate effect and replace manual passports with MRP. He paid a surprise visit to the Directorate of Immigration and Passports Headquarters here where he was briefed about the ongoing projects of passports. The Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior directed Director General, Immigration and Passports to further facilitate the people who intend to obtain MRP.
