Petrol price down by Rs5, diesel by Rs4

ISLAMABAD - Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) here on Friday night reduced the prices of petrol by Rs 5 per litre and diesel by Rs 4 per litre that would be effective from November 1 (today). The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has notified, on the advice of the Federal Government, new maximum ex-deposit prices of the following products: Motor Spirit, Rs 76.66 per litre; HOBC, Rs 96.08 per litre; Kerosene Oil, Rs 61.84 per litre and Light Diesel Oil, Rs 60.00 per litre. The notification issued here on Friday night says that new sale prices would be effective from November 1 (today). The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) spokesman said that the price of Motor Spirit had been reduced by Rs 5 per litre and HSD by Rs 4 per litre, keeping in view the current declining trend in international crude oil prices. Detailed computations for the above prices, based on the Federal Government formula, are placed at the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) website, the notification further says.
