KARACHI - Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that Afghan people are involved in the terrorism activities in Pakistan. Terrorists of Afghanistan illegally arrived in the Pakistan to perform their terrorism activities in the country, he said while talking to the journalists at Jinnah International Airport Karachi on Thursday. Rehman Malik said that the government will not hold talks with those Baloch who desecrate the flag of Pakistan and engage in extremism saying that government is ready to hold negotiation with those who respect the national flag. He warned that government could use other options to maintain its writ in the affected areas of the country saying that Baloch people get benefits from the Aghaz-e-Haqooqe Balochistan package. Malik said that government has shutdown all the check-posts in Balochistan as per the promise made by the government with the people of Balochistan. He applauded the efforts of Inspector General Frontier Constabulary Balochistan over the successful operation against the terrorists at Turbat, Balochistan. Commenting about the Wikileaks revelations, he said that Wikileaks documents are based on speculations having no solid grounds whatsoever. Referring to the law and order situation of Karachi and Sindh province, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the special security steps are being taken to maintain law and order situation during Muharram-ul-Harram adding that approval for the processions would be required. Federal Minister Rehman Malik also presided over an important meeting at Chief Minister House Sindh about the law and order situation in the Sindh province and Karachi in a wake of Muharram-ul-Harram.
