QUETTA - Three people, including a sub-inspector of Balochistan Constabulary (BC) were killed in separate incidents of firing in Quetta, Khuzdar and Panjgour on Sunday. According to police, sub-inspector of Balochistan Constabulary, Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Punjab who was residing in a private residence at Zarghoon Road was found dead when the people from neighbourhood entered into the house. He received two bullets in his head while the police found some used tea cups in the same room and suspected that the killers might have spent some time with the deceased before killing him. The killers also took away his service rifle. The police moved the body to hospital for autopsy and later dispatched to his ancestral town Jhang in the evening for burial. Police say investigations were underway to ascertain motive behind the killing. In another incident, a man was killed in Khuzdar district some 360 km away from Quetta. Sources said that Muhammad Anwar was on his way in Naal area of Khuzdar when two unidentified people riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate firing on him. Consequently, he received critical bullet wounds and died instantly. The attackers escaped after killing Muhammad Anwar. Local law enforcement agencies shifted the body to hospital for autopsy. However, motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, a person was shot dead in Panjgour, a bordering town with Iran. Unidentified masked men riding a motorbike killed person identified as Amjad Ali in Washbod area of Panjgour after opening indiscriminate firing on him and managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime. Meanwhile, the Iranian government handed over bodies of two Pakistani citizens to Pakistani authorities at Mand, bordering town of Kech district, on Sunday. Iranian authorities handed over the dead bodies of Muhammad Atif and Muhammad Yasin, to Pakistani officials in Mand. Later the bodies were dispatched to Karachi by road for sending them to Multan, the hometown of deceased.
