PPP not mulling to sacrifice PM: Farhatullah Babar

Presidential spokesperson Farhatullah Babar has clarified that the PPP is not mulling the sacrifice of incumbent Prime Minister, adding that the political parties have right to bring no-confidence motion in the parliament however it would not be practiced. Talking exclusively to Online news Agency on Monday, Farhatullah Babar stated that the government wanted to take all the allied parties on board and their reservations and problems would be resolved through negotiations. He clarified that Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani would complete the five years term. To a query, the presidential spokesperson said that all the political parties including PML-N is backing the government however they would not have to derail the democratic setup. While answering another question, he was of the view that the prices of the petroleum have been increased according to the augmentation in the international market. He further stated that the president had not contacted with Altaf Hussain however he issued directions to settle the issues and reservations of MQM. He asked the MQM to review his decision regarding sitting on the opposition benches. He reiterated that all the issues of allied parties would be settled with negotiations.
