In his speech, Governor Zulfiqar Magsi sought General Kayanis attention towards the growing number of missing Baloch youth and made a passionate appeal for their recovery, saying the international community was also expressing their concern over the matter. Magsi stressed the need of exposing the people involved in the abduction of missing persons and said their families should be informed whether they were alive or not. If they were involved in any criminal activity, they should be tried in the court of law, he added. He appealed to the COAS to take personal interest into the issue, as cases of forced disappearances were still being reported. He said the solution of Balochistan problem lied in the recovery of these missing persons. Later, when journalists asked Magsi whether the Baloch resistance groups and angry people could be attracted for talks, the governor joked that they should also be invited for 'drinks. APP adds: Chief Minister Raisani has termed the conversion of cantonment into the education city as innovation to remove the grievances of people of Balochistan. Talking to media men at PECS, he said withdrawal of forces from Dera Bugti and conversion of cantonment into the education city in Sui was the one of the pledges made by the PPP government which had been materialised in the letter and spirit. Not barrel of gun but pen can remove prevailing trust deficit in Balochistan, he noted, adding that use of force had never been the solution of any problem in the history of human being. Expressing his displeasure over the killing of low profile people, he said these acts were against the norms of Baloch people and the perpetrators were not serving their cause. To a question, he renewed the offer of dialogue to the disgruntled Baloch brethren for a durable peace. Sit with me; share the grievances and let us make the way out, he said while giving message to the discontented elements. The CM Balochistan said the nationalists in the recently held All Parties Conference realised the fact that target killing was leading Balochistan towards the verge of destruction. Earlier, he inaugurated the residential and academic blocks of Balochistan Public School Sui.
