Govt reaction today

ISLAMABAD - The government has yet not come up with its reaction over the PML-Q's white paper on Prime Minister's 100-day plan.    When Information Minister Sherry Rehman was contacted for government's reaction to PML-Q's white paper, her assistant replied that the Minister would give reaction in a Press conference today (July 4) in Karachi after studying the document thoroughly. PML-N spokesman, Saddiqul Farooq said that the coalition government as well as the whole nation was reaping the thorns sown by eight-year long regime of PML-Q and President Pervez Musharraf. He said that the achievements of the government were marginalised due to lack of consultation and coordination between coalition partners. "The 100-day plan was also affected as the ruling coalition could not fulfill national commitments of the restoration of judiciary, revival of Constitution to 1973 position and the impeachment of the President", he stated.        Farooq said that criticism on PML-N was bearing no weight as the party was standing on its principled stance. "We are not parting ways with PPP as PML-N does not like to destabilize democratic order or flourish the buried curse of horse-trading in the country", he noted, adding that PML-N does not want that PPP or future historians blame the party for not giving appropriate time for resolving the issues.     APP adds: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani  has announced that he will address the nation on the completion of 100 days of his government. "I will take the nation into confidence after 100 days of my government," he said while speaking at a dinner hosted for him by Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah here at CM House on Wednesday.  Members of Sindh Assembly, National Assembly, and Senators from Sindh including the Provincial and Federal Ministers and diplomats of various countries attended the dinner gathering.
