Girls school blown up

PESHAWAR Unknown militants have blown up Government Girls High School Badrashi, Nowshehra, with seven powerful explosive devices. Sources informed that seven remote-controlled devices were planted in the various portions of the school on late Thursday night. The seven consecutive blasts caused fear and panic among the dwellers. The classrooms, furniture, computers and other valuables equipments were damaged completely. Another private school was also partially damaged in the attack. Soon after the blast police cordoned off the area and launched search operation, however, the militants had already made their escape successful. The area of Badrashi is adjacent to Cantonment area where militants also fired a rocket on the house of a former town nazim. The boundary wall of the house was damaged in the attack.
