SHEIKHUPURA (APP) - Two motorcyclists shot dead Prof Yousaf in Ferozewala on Tuesday morning. According to police, two unknown assailants riding on a motorcycle came to the shop of Prof Yousaf and opened indiscriminate fire at him killing him on the spot. Later, the assailants fled from the site. The police, on the report of Fateh-ud-Din, son of the deceased, have registered a case against Maulvi Muhammad Faridi and three others. Investigation is underway. Meanwhile, police claimed to have arrested three terrorists and recovered 24 bombs and explosive material from their possession in different raids in Ferozwala tehsil on Tuesday. The Lahore police working on a tip-off had arrested an alleged terrorist from Pathan Colony, in tehsil Ferozwala while Ferozwala police apprehended two other terrorists from Sher-e-Bangal Labour Colony. However, police are keeping their names secret. According to police, all the three terrorists are Afghan nationals and have been shifted to undisclosed location. Further investigation is in progress.
