Hajj pilgrims gathering at Arafat

After offering the Fajr prayer at Mina, the pilgrims are moving towards Arafat for performing the most important phase of the Hajj, Wuqoof-e-Arafat. Millions of the pilgrims of Hajj, coming from all over the world, stayed for one day at Mina, the city of tents, in the first phase of Hajj and recited Qura'an and offered prayers for whole night. After offering the Fajr prayer early in the morning, the pilgrims began their travel to Arafat in the second phase of Hajj. They moved towards Arafat raising voices of Allhumma Labbaik. Many of them went to Arafat already in the night and installed their tents near Jabal-e-Rehmat and Masjid-e-Nimra. Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Abdulla Al-Sheikh will deliver Khutba-e-Hajj at the plain of Arafat today and the pilgrims will offer the prayers of Zohr and Asr with only one Azaan. Those pilgrims, who cannot reach Masjid-e-Nimra due to long distance will offer the prayers in their tents. The staff of the Saudi Special Security Forces, Traffic Department, Civil Defence and Hajj departments are taking rounds of the area and supervising the arrangements.
