ISLAMABAD - Interior Minister Rehman Malik has directed the respective police stations to register the FIRs of missing persons and speed up the investigations. Latest report regarding all these cases will be presented in the Supreme Court of Pakistan during the next hearing, Malik said during a meeting held here on Saturday in the Ministry of Interior to discuss the issue of missing persons according to the direction of the apex court. Malik further asked the home secretaries to be available to assist the Attorney General of Pakistan. He reiterated that the Government of Pakistan in coordination with the provincial governments would make serious efforts for tracing whereabouts of the missing persons.
