Pak Army establishes flood control centre in Abbotabad

Pakistan Army has established an Army Flood Control Centre in Abbotabad to provide relief and rescue facilities for the flood affectees in the areas of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, Northern Areas and Karakoram avenue. Military spokesman said that said that 3-helicopters of Pakistan Army were carrying rescue operation for flood victims in Northern areas and 150-people from a village of Kamra have been rescued to Skardu through 15-flights of helicopters and food items were also being distributed in flood-hit areas of Kamra through helicopters. 40 persons including 18 tourists have also been shifted from helicopters to safer places from flood-affected areas of Kail and Neelum valley of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, he added.
