Parties clash during Mandi Bahauddin by-polls

GUJRAT- The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was involved in another controversy during by-elections in Mandi Bahauddin today.

According to our sources, PTI candidate Tariq Tarrar used abusive remarks against polling authorities.

Tarrar said, “I will burn everything down if my polling agents are not allowed to sit here.” The Election Commission of Pakistan took notice of the incident and demanded a report from DRO Mandi Bahauddin.

The polling was suspended at polling station No. 138 following a confrontation between PTI and PML-N workers. Police was deployed at the polling station in order to control the situation. PTI candidates said that PML-N was taking advantage of being in power.

Also, Rangers have been deployed at polling station No. 80.
