5.1-magnitude quake jolts India-Pakistan border

A moderate 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted the border region between India and Pakistan on Thursday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said. The quake shook buildings, forced some schools to be evacuated and three people were injured, local officials said. The USGS said the epicentre of the quake was 250 kilometres (155 miles) northwest of Jodhpur and 150 kilometres southeast of the Pakistani town of Rahimyar Khan, at a depth of 43 kilometres.
