Landlord throws man to dogs

MULTAN (Online) - A fisherman was thrown before dogs for not giving free of cost fish to a landlord here in suburban village of Jalal Pur Pir Wala. Landlord Ghulam Qadir two days ago threatened a fisherman Abdul Ghaffar that he would throw him before the hungry dogs after he refused to give free fish to him, a private TV channel reported. On Tuesday in village Shamani of Jalal Pur Pir Wala, the landlord again sought fish from the fisherman without giving him money but he refused to do so. He was thrown before the vicious dogs, causing severe injuries on his face. The injured fisherman was rushed to Jalal Pur Pir Wala hospital where his condition is said to be critical. The mother of fisherman has demanded CJ Iftikhar Chaudhary and Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the issue. Station House Officer Sadr Police Station Sheikh Rafique after registering a case against Ghulam Qadir has arrested him. City Police Officer Multan Saud Aziz while talking to a private TV channel said he held talks with DSP and SHO over the incident and they told him that a case under section 289/337 L-1 has been registered. When asked about the imprisonment to accused after arrest, he said seven years imprisonment can be awarded to him.
