QUETTA - An employee of Balochistan Zakat Minister Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa was killed when his vehicle was attacked here on Saturday night. Fortunately, the minister was not present in the vehicle. The attackers escaped the crime scene. The body of Bachal was taken to the Civil Hospital, Quetta, for autopsy. An investigation has been ordered by the police authorities to ascertain the real causes of the attack on the vehicle of the provincial minister. However, no group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. Some official sources said though the minister himself was not present in the vehicle at the time of the attack but he could be the real target. It may be mentioned here that Balochistan Education Minister Shafiq Ahmed Khan was also killed in such an attack in October last year. A hand-grenade attack had also been carried out on the residence of provincial Information Minister Younus Mullazai in the City. Meanwhile, the provincial government has enhanced the security for provincial ministers after the brutal killing of Shafiq besides fitting jammers on the vehicles of some ministers.
