The floodwater of Indus River is continually wreaking havoc in different areas of Sindh while more than 30 villages have inundated due to breach in Mosa Ala abadi Canal and security of banks has been handed over to Pak Army. As per details, the floodwater pressure is remaining continued on embankments while the flood affectees are being shifted to other safer places. The district administration has directed to evacuate Thal, Mir Pur road and Kot jungle as the floodwater is flowing towards Thal. The rescue works by Pak Army is continuing in flood-hit areas. The floodwater is badly affecting bank in Larkana. Water flow is 800,000 cusec at Aaqilagani bank, Nusrat bank and Puranaabad bank. The breach in Kulagani bank has been controlled. Cadet College Larkana would remain closed for more than five days in wake of possible flood. The floodwater is entering in district Ghotki by cutting its under construction canal. The thousand flood affectees are still trapped in Qadir Pur and Jaam Pur and they have not been provided food. Meanwhile, water leakage is continued from Ali Wahan bank and people have started rescue work on self-help basis. The masses have demanded to pull down Ali Wahan bank. More than three thousand flood affectees have shifted from Nawab Shah. A flash flood of 11,31,000 cusec is passing through Sukkur barrage. Water level is decreasing in Guddu Barrage. Water pressure is increasing in Sukkur barrage for last 16 hours as flash flood of 11,30,995 cusec is passing through the barrage. The water has starting to leak from 6 holes in protection walls of Sukkur barrage. The Pak Army has controlled the barrage. To save the province from possible super flood, it has been decided to Breach the safety banks from different sides. In the first phase the breaches would be created in safety bank of Kandh Kot, secondly in Qadir Pur bank, third Ali Wahan bank. Aaqilagani loop bank has been declared red zone while more than 1500 people have been shifted to secure places. The water is leaking from safety bank in Rohri. Section 144 has been clamped in kucha areas and schools would remain close for more one week. The district Surjaani, Soondh, Hilaya and Minaar have been declared sensitive. The breach of 150 feet has been created in Begaari canal, Shikaar Pur. 33 villages have inundated in Min Sahib.
