QUETTA Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani has said that provincial government would leave no stone unturned for rehabilitation of flood victims and issued directives to Divisional Commissioners and revenue staff for early completion of report about losses caused by heavy rains and floods in Balochistan in collaboration with Army. He expressed these views while talking to flood affectees in Loralai and Harnai districts on Wednesday. Chief Minister also took an aerial view of the affected areas of both the districts. He met with affectees, tribal notables, leaders of different political leaders, scholars in Loralai and Harnai. He was briefed about the losses and relief activities in the affected areas of Zhob district, including Barkhan, Qila Saifullah, Mussa Khel, Zhob and Loralai. He declared Zhob division as calamity- hit division. He said that provincial government would utilise all available resources for the rehabilitation of flood affectees and ,added, that for the rehabilitation of affected people and restoration of basic structure provincial government had also appealed to the Federal government for provision of special grant and a relief fund had also been established. Chief Minister appealed to traders, philanthropists and citizens to come forward and donate generously in relief fund for the country men. Earlier, Commissioner Zhob Division Ikthiyar Bangulzai briefed Chief Minister regarding losses caused by the floods and relief activities in Zhob division. On this occasion, provincial ministers Maulana Abdul Wasay, Mir Shahnawaz Marri and other notables of the area were also present.
