PESHAWAR - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet on Tuesday formally approved establishment of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Company Limited and start of the Bacha Khan Khpal Rozgar scheme by sanctioning Rs100 million.
Besides, the cabinet, met here with Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti in the chair, also directed filing of recommendations for new structure of local government system in the province to the provincial assemblys select committee.
Briefing the newsmen here, Minister for Information Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that the cabinet had approved establishing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil and Gas Company Limited, adding it was need of the hour after the passage of the 18th amendment to properly utilize and manage gas and oil resources in the province.
In addition, the cabinet sanctioned Rs100 million for starting the Bacha Khan Khpal Rozgar Scheme.
