Gas supply has been suspended to several areas of Balochistan after gas pipeline was blown up by some miscreants. According to the Police officials, explosive material destroyed a pipeline of 18 inches diameter passing by Dera Alla Yar. After the explosion in the pipeline, gas supply to the various areas of Balochistan has been suspended. No losses of life were reported. Police has started investigations instantly. In addition, Sui officials have started temporary supply to different areas including Quetta after relief operations whereas load shedding of gas would rise in several areas of the province. As reported by a local TV and PPL officials, anonymous individuals have blown up a junction pipeline of two wells with explosive material in Sui. Explosions have affected gas supply to Sui plant and stopped gas supply to the compressor plant of Sui Gas field which would decrease the generation process. Security Forces have increased security of the four gas plants after several attacks have been organized on the gas installations in Dera Bugti.
