ISLAMABAD National Assembly, Thursday, kept echoing with MNA Kashmala Tariqs voice for ten minutes calling out 'Madam Speaker, Point of Order. The incident took place when a calling attention notice was being addressed in the House and Kashmala Tariq stood from her seat and asked the speaker for point of order. However, Speaker did not allow her to speak on the point of order as the decision was taken that the points of order would be taken after the business of the House. The situation became worse when MNA from PML-Q likeminded, Kashmala started shouting 'point of order again and again but the proceedings continued as speaker did not take notice and members kept on discussing calling attention notice. On the occasion, Speaker asked the MNA not to bulldoze the proceedings and said that she came to the House once in a blue moon. However, the angry MNA went on saying, You (Speaker) are custodian of the House. Later, MNA was allowed to speak on Point of Order. Kashmala said that National Assembly Standing Committee did not inform the members about the meeting timings and sometime they were informed just two to three hours before the meeting. She said that the members should be informed three days before the meeting.
