At least one person was killed while six others were injured when a rocket hit a security checkpost in North Waziristan Agency (NWA). According to a private television channel, the attack occurred when a rocket fired from unknown places hit a checkpost near a camp of security forces in the Shawal area of the Agency. One soldier was killed on the spot while six others were injured in the attack, said the report. After the incident, all the injured were shifted to a military hospital in Miranshah, a main town in North Waizirstan, the report said, adding that three were critically injured. No group has claimed the responsibility for the attack so far.
