QUETTA - A 24-inch diameter gas pipeline was blown up in District Dera Bugti on Monday. According to police, unknown people had planted explosive device under the beneath the gas pipeline in Tali Mat area. The explosion badly damaged the pipeline and suspended gas supply to some parts of country. Soon after the blast, law enforcement agencies personnel reached the site and cordoned off the area. Officials of OGDCL have confirmed the incident saying said technical experts are sent to the area to repair damaged pipeline. Police have registered a case against unknown miscreants and started investigation.
