Total lunar eclipse tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (APP) - The years first total lunar eclipse will occur on the night between Wednesday and Thursday. The Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Monday that the eclipse will stays for 50 minutes and it will be visible to many countries, including Pakistan. The Karachi University Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics Director Prof Dr Muhammad Shahid Qureshi said that the eclipse would occur on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, private news channel reported. The eclipse visibility path will be over east Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Western Australia and it will not be visible from America and Europe. The eclipse will be a rare one because this times the moon will pass directly through the centre of the earths shadow cone -an event that hasnt happened in 11 years and wont happen again until 2018.
