At least 18 passengers including women and children were injured after a passenger van plunged into a ravine at Chamankot area of Muzaffarabad on Friday. A passenger van which was coming from Dir Kot to Muzaffarabad, went out of driver's control due to over-speeding while negotiating a sharp turn ahead, plunged into a ravine inflicting injuries on 18 passengers. Rescue teams and locals immediately reached the spot and pulled out the injured from the wrecked van. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Some of the injured were stated to be in critical condition, hospital sources said.
