ISLAMABAD- Former Interior Minister of Pakistan, Rehman Malik and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar discussed ways and means on how to end the political crisis in the country.

In a telephonic conversation between the two leaders, Rehman Malik said that negotiations should be held to end confrontation between protestors and the government. Delaying the negotiation process will lead to further problems, he said.

Dr. Tahir ul Qadri and Imran Khan are being given threats and security of the two leaders must be ensured, he said.

Chaudhry Sarwar said the federal government will express flexibility and hold talks within the Constitution.
