Balochistan PMA chief loses life to bullets

QUETTA - Pakistan Medical Association Balochistan President Dr Mazar Baloch, who was injured in a firing incident in Quetta, succumbed to his injuries in Karachi on Saturday. Dr Mazar Baloch along with a companion was passing from Masjid Road of Quetta on Friday night when assailants opened indiscriminate fire on them. Both sustained serious wounds and were shifted to Civil Hospital. However, due to Dr Mazars critical conditionr, doctors referred him to Karachi for treatment. He was shifted to Karachi and was admitted to a private hospital, however he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, provincial ministers and political leaders have strongly condemned the murder of Dr. Mazar Baloch and termed it an inhuman act. Meanwhile, doctors observed a black day across the province and boycotted work in government hospitals against the murder.
