KHYBER AGENCY As many as five security personnel were injured when a remote controlled bomb went off in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency here on Wednesday. According to details, a convoy of security forces was on its routine patrolling, when it was targeted by a remote controlled bomb attack at Spin Qabar in Tehsil Bara Khyber Agency. As a result, five security personnel were injured in the attack. They have been shifted to nearby hospital. Soon after the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and started a search operation. Meanwhile, a huge cache of arms, suicide jackets and other explosives material were recovered in an operation conducted by the forces here in Shalobar, Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency on Wednesday, FC sources said. According to reports last morning the forces launched a massive search operation in Shalobar area in Khyber Agency. During the search operation, heavy weapons, an immense quantity of explosive material and suicide jackets were recovered from the possession of miscreants. As to reports including Afghan nationals 25 insurgents were detained and were shifted to forces centre for further investigation.20 vehicles were also impounded.
