Police have arrested at least 70 suspected miscreants during overnight search operation in Dhoke Hassu area of Rawalpindi city. According to details, the police on a tip off regarding presence of miscreants launched door-to-door search operation in Dhoke Hassu area, situated in the jurisdiction of Gunjmandi Police Station, adjacent to Raja Bazar and Pirwdahi areas. SSP Operation supervised the search operation. The police during search operation sought the identity of residents of the area and nabbed at least 70 suspects who failed to present National Identity Cards (NIC) and other documents. The detainees were being interrogated at Gunj Mandi Police Station. The police have warned the citizens to keep NIC and other required documents with them. They also urged the locals to first inquire the identity of those people who seek to get houses and shops on rent.
