Nawaz to hold decisive talks with Zardari

SAHIWAL (Online) - Former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that PML-N would hold decisive talks with President Asif Zardari regarding the issues of reinstatement of deposed judges, implementation of Charter of Democracy (CoD) and repeal of the 17th Amendment. While talking to a delegation of party workers led by Malik Muhammad Ramzan here Sunday, he added that non-implementation of CoD was tantamount to lending another chance to a dictator to flourish in the country. He vowed that PML-N would continue its struggle to end all the illegal and unconstitutional steps taken by Musharraf and alleged that pro-Musharraf conspirators were trying to derail the democratic system in the country. Nawaz  demanded of the PPP-led government to bring all the unconstitutional steps taken by a dictator especially on 12 October 1999 and 3rd November 2007 into Parliament for discussion. Terming it a crucial issue, he pledged that PML-N would play a historical role in the reinstatement of judges. The talks between the leaders would likely to take place after President Zardari's return from US.
