LAHORE- Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq today said that the army and the judiciary should not be dragged into politics.
Speaking to journalists, JI chief said that after involving the army, some politicians were now dragging judiciary into politics, which is not beneficial for democracy.
“My party will not allow anyone to derail democracy and harm the law and constitution of the country,” said Haq.
JI chief said that his party along with other opposition political parties would take initiatives to resume dialogue between the government and protesting parties.
