No room for martial law: Gilani

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that there was no room for military coup in Pakistan and future of democracy was secured. Talking to media here in Lahore, Gilani said that memogate issue was a conspiracy to postpone the senate election. He said that he meet Army Chief to make unity in the country. There is no room for chair-taker, care-taker or technocrat government in the country, he said. The prime minister also strongly ruled out any possibility of a martial law or technocrat-based interim set up in the country.
