NATO supply route blockade enters 23rd day

Pakistan's blockade of the vital NATO/US supply line into Afghanistan entered its 23rd day on Sunday. The supply line was suspended after the NATO aircraft attacked checkposts inside Pakistan, killing 24 soldiers in Mohmand Agency. Hundreds of containers are waiting at Karachi port and Chaman terminal to deliver the loaded goods in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, drivers of the NATO containers, standing at Pak borders, are facing many problems. Severe cold is adding miseries to the drivers in addition to danger of attacks by the militants. According to FC officials, Afghan police have also stopped hundreds of empty containers, returning from Afghanistan, in Spin Boldak.
